The mission of IUGB, as a world class, not-for-profit, American-style institution, is to deliver an English-language liberal arts education in fields critical to Côte d’Ivoire and West Africa’s growth and development.

Critical core values and governing principles, which include caring, ethics, equal opportunity, gender equality, environmental consciousness, and lifelong learning, underpin the University’s teaching, research and service activities to produce innovative, entrepreneurial, and socially responsible leaders. We also inculcate excellence, accountability, and opportunity as part of key values to make the IUGB community stand tall among its peers.
